I'm Meredith.

I created this resource because I lived it & it didn’t exist when I needed it.

After 17 years of debilitating pain, endometriosis, narcissistic abuse, and medical gaslighting, I unraveled the lies and healed myself—an experience that inspired me to live my art, literally.

What began as my ongoing 13-year art series, Every Phase, grew into the Face Your Shit, Heal Yourself Podcast, and now this guide.

I asked Shanaya Mercy why she bought my 'Dawn of the Follicles' Cyanotype piece from my 'Every Phase' Collection. Here's what she told me....

"I've been going through a release of old things, starting a new phase of my life as I turned 50. I was in a 20 year relationship with an alcoholic, and made tons of excuses for him. I decided I had to step away knowing that I had done all I could do for him. Then, the job that I had forever, that I hated, let me go in January. I asked God to show me what I need to do to change my life, and give me the courage to do it. This piece spoke to me and reminded me of that message."

While Shanaya bought the finished piece of 'Dawn of the Follicles' Cyanotype, Morrighan bought the one-of a kind 'artist proof' used in the 'making of' the finale piece.I create test prints or ‘artist proofs’ to experiment—testing exposure times & experimenting with materials before committing to the “final” piece. They often carry faint scratches, exposure lines, or subtle chemical variations from the process & are significantly more affordable than the final edition.

"This piece felt very personal. What I took from this piece reminded me of my experience going through burnout & depression. The beautiful phantom face really encapsulated how I felt at that time. I felt so invisible. Almost like a ghost, almost like I didn’t exist, because my entire reality was being reshaped. As I look through these beautiful orbs of time, which resemble phases of the moon, what really resonated with me in this piece was the need for time. Time to deconstruct, time to sift through what wasn’t true, what was true, and then reconstruct who I wanted to be moving forward with a new lens, a new connection to my body, a new wisdom within my own cycles, so this piece really moved me for that reason.
